The venue was at Shanghai International Studies University. The Songjiang Campus is located in the Sonjiang area of Shanghai and the campus is very spacious with many beautiful buildings.
There were booths throughout the campus showcasing Japanese companies.
They changed into their stage costumes and posed for pictures in front of the venue.

In the dressing room, Chinese students who were on holiday asked to have their pictures taken with our heroes.
Finally the show starts and the pair take the stage before the competition starts.
A packed venue.
After their stage appearance, the Shanghai cosplayers perform for the contest. The high level of the contestants really stirred up the crowd.
After everyone had their turn on stage, the judges worked on making their selection, and the stage monitors showed a promotional video for Machi★Asobi.
The two take the stage and tell everyone all about Tokushima.
The MC says, "Tokushima is most famous for Awa Odori."
Our cosplayers respond to a request from the MC and the crowd, and do a little Awa Odori dancing, to the delight of onlookers.
Afterwards, the guest cosplayers from Shanghai took the stage and the event reached its climax.
Shanghai Japan Week 2011 Cosplay Championship came to a successful finish. Thank you Rio and Mutsumi for doing a great job of promoting Tokushima.
Rio and Mutsumi will be MCing the Machi★Asobi Cosplay Championship finals in Tokushima on October 9.
